Want to know what's going on? Here's the scoop:

General: As you know, we're not moving very fast. probably at around a month per release... this is due to a lack of staff who aren't busy. If you have the time, please contribute!

Sakura no Ichiban: Chapter 11 is cleaned and being translated...

Peace Maker: Chapter 11, 12, 13, and 16 are cleaned. We have informed Deadbeat that we're willing to work on Peace Maker independently until they have regrouped after a family crisis occurred with their group leader.

Chapter 11 of Peace Maker has been translated. I'll be proofing it once the bulk of my exams are over (which is two days from now) and hopefully someone can typeset while I'm gone to TO... and then, release!

Kimi ni Yadoru Hoshi is another thing we're working on. The first chapter will be released all at once when it's done, and it's about 100 pages long. so that will be a bit of a wait

Assassin Story: we have translations up to chapter 5 and 1/3 of the chapter 5 poem. It's a tricky one, so the poem may take a while. The extra stories are being translated.

Possible new projects:

Kimi ni Yadoru Hoshi: The first chapter will be released as a whole. Part 1a is done. Part 1b is being edited. Part 1c is being typeset.

Allison: Translation and cleaning is done. It is being proofread by FATE.

Also look out for a possible new Chinese project. Translation jobs have been allocated for it already.

I have offered the tankubons for the volumes that are available, but I guess there is the problem with providing an address for mailing. I understand. However, all the chapters are available scanned on line . ready to download here

It is true that it is a Magazine scan, but it looks very clean AND available up to date , all chapters to the current chapter 22! So what is the problem? Please take advantage of the available raws and give us some more Peace maker...Please?

thanks kevin for pointing that out for us ^^ I had checked at mangahelpers before and couldn't find any; so thanks for pointing it out to me.

As for how we're going to continue this... it's rather complicated as to how this is going to happen. I'm going to try and figure something out...

I wish it was the other way around, You guys had the translations and Deadbeat had the raws. Because than at least the translations could be posted as a text only release. There is quite a few of those on Mangahelpers.  I love those because those of us  with the magazines at least can follow the story month to month, This way there is nothing. At this point I would be happy with just a 3 sentence description  of each chapter, something, anything.

Deadbeat's been going through some rough times, so in may, we're going to attempt to try to do it independently until they're back on their feet. We did send them an email about this. Hopefully between now and then, they can send us the translations they've already done (they did have chapter 11 done, at the very least). If not, I'll see if I can ask one of our translators to do it.
